Full Review: We Love Training With The BarxBuddy Device & BarxBuddy Training Treats

April 12, 2022 by admin Leave a Comment

BarxBuddy dog training device

BarxBuddy is one of our favorite pet companies because they bring training into the 21st century. Training our pets has never been easier, thanks to the BarxBuddy Device and BarxBuddy Training Treats.

In this article, I will go over everything that I love about these two BarxBuddy products, why I love them, and why traditional training methods and treats just cannot compare.

The BarxBuddy Training Treats are Delicious!

I assume they’re delicious, at least because my doggo loves them! He’s even grown to know the sound of the bag. I take them on walks with me wherever we go so that I can keep our reward system even if we’re not at home, and I have to say it’s made a huge difference.

I know dogs aren’t exactly known for being picky eaters, but mine sure is. He’s so spoiled that he’ll turn his nose up at a treat if it isn’t the most delicious thing on the planet.

Unfortunately, this means the treat will also be unhealthy most of the time. However, the BarxBuddy Training Treats are healthy and delicious, so we both win!

BarxBuddy Device

The BarxBuddy Device is a Classic

Let’s move on to the BarxBuddy Device now. This training device is practically a high-tech dog whistle, with some huge improvements.

Dog whistles have been the most effective and popular training devices for decades at this point, but they rely on a blow. This means that the frequency of the whistle won’t always be the same.

Sometimes it’ll be too soft and sometimes too high pitch (which could hurt your pup’s ears). The BarxBuddy device doesn’t have this problem! It always gives the same frequency, which is safe for your pet and sure to catch their attention.

This also makes training easier since your dog will never be confused as to whether the frequency is for them or not. Dog training requires consistency, which is exactly what the BarxBuddy Device was made for.

Pair Them Up Anywhere!

What makes the BarxBuddy Device and the BarxBuddy Training Treats so powerful is that they can be paired up on the go. The treats are bite-sized, which means they are very healthy and low-calorie, so you can take them anywhere and toss your dog as many as you’d like.

The BarxBuddy device is also pocket-sized and will fit wherever you need it. Experts say that you should train your dog outside, around stimulus as much as possible, so they know to listen even when they’re not in a nice and quiet home.

The BarxBuddy Training Treats and training device make this more convenient and more effective than ever.

Safety First

The most important aspect of either of these products is that they are safe! The BarxBuddy device uses a frequency that is akin to a dog whistle.

It is not loud enough to hurt their ears, but it will definitely grab their attention and correct their behavior. The BarxBuddy training treats are tiny and low-calorie, so you do not have to worry about over-feeding your pup with them.

This is great because, with other treats, you’ll have to worry about rewarding good behavior too often and may confuse your dog if they don’t get a reward when they expect one. Now, you can give your good boys and girls however many healthy dog treats they deserve!

How to Perfectly Choose a Baby Formula?

February 15, 2022 by admin Leave a Comment

If you are raising a baby, you may want to give them bottle milk at some stage. This may be at a time when you want to supplement or substitute breastfeeding. Whichever reason you have to give this milk to your baby, there’re several questions you could be asking yourself. This is common, especially for first-time parents.

The market offers different baby formulas and choosing the right one could be tricky for some parents. You should choose between ready-to-use formula, powdered milk formula, and concentrated formula. Each baby milk formula has unique advantages and disadvantages as well.

The formula you select should depend on your baby’s needs and habits. Let’s look at the three formulas we mentioned earlier:

  • Ready to use Formula.

This is the newest baby milk formula that you can purchase for your babies. The milk is ready for consumption and hence is served directly. It’s much fast and more convenient to serve babies than any other formula. One isn’t required to take any measurements or spend time preparing the milk. Premature babies should be fed this milk because it’s sterile. This guarantees the safety of consuming ready-to-use formula milk.

The only issue with these formulas is the high cost of purchasing them. However, they are the best and most safe if you can afford them.

  • Concentrate Milk Formula.

Although this product is ready, you are required to mix it with water before feeding the baby. This forces you to carry clean water whenever you go. If you don’t carry water, you’re likely to go to a place where clean water isn’t accessible. Water from wells and other less trusted water sources should be boiled before using it to prepare baby milk.

When dealing with concentrate formulas, be keen on the recommended dosage. The mixing ratio must be accurate. Read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to understand the preparation process and requirements.

  • Powdered Formula.

If you’re a parent who looks for portability convenience, I guess powdered milk is a better option for you. The milk is powdered and packed in a can for easy carriage. This milk is relatively cheap and hence affordable for most parents. In addition to affordability, this milk has an exceptionally long shelf life. This means that you can use it for many days even if you buy it in large quantities. The most amazing fact about this milk is that you can prepare as much milk as you wish using this formula. You’ll choose whether to prepare a whole or quarter meal.

The bottom line of this milk formula is the time needed to prepare a meal. Experienced mothers will always do it faster because they understand dosages.

Conclusion.

Other than the formula you purchase, it’s paramount to consider the products used to make the formula. This can be cow milk or soy milk for allergic infants among others. Again, keep in mind that there are formulas that contain extra nutrients to cater to specific needs. For example, formulas ideal for premature babies contain iron combined with calories. Always go for a product that covers the needs of your baby.

Little dining experiences: Dealing with those first trips to restaurants

January 26, 2022 by admin Leave a Comment

Dining out used to be one of life’s treats. As a new parent, it can be the exact opposite. Of course, let’s not be too downbeat. After you’ve gotten used to the “different” process of dining out with children, you’ll soon be enjoying it again and for a whole host of different, rewarding reasons.

However, it can take time for kids to get used to eating out. Just like you teach manners at the dining table at home, you almost have to rewrite the rulebook when it comes to venturing to other venues.

Bearing this in mind, let’s now take a look at some of the best tips to implement if you are looking to get your young children used to dining out at restaurants.

Your location decision sets the tone

Thinking about dining in that expensive restaurant that you and your other half used to frequent pre-children? Think again.

Location is key during this process, and finding a family-friendly restaurant is central to this. Fortunately, restaurants of this ilk can be varied; they’re not the stereotypical joints that they once were. In other words, nowadays it doesn’t have to be about Happy Meals, you can instead go somewhere like Covent Garden and enjoy some really nice meals in a family-friendly environment.

But, what exactly is this sort of environment? Of course, there’s no Oxford definition, but anything that remotely encourages little people to visit is worth considering. This could be:

  • Children’s menus: An obvious one, but it is a giant welcome sign to you and your young family.
  • Highchairs: See above. Again, this is proof that a restaurant is more than happy to accommodate you.
  • Spacious areas: Like it or not, there will be some chaos, and this is where a big restaurant where you can almost be “out of the way” can be worth its weight in gold.

The list can go on, but hopefully, you understand where we are coming from.

An explanation is key

We don’t need to give you the lowdown on how to teach your child manners, but there’s no doubt that this will be a very different experience for them and there will be testing points.

From our experience, the best way is to offer a brief explanation before you leave the house. Tell them that you are visiting a special place and the food options that are available. Highlight a few of the basic manners and go from there. As much as surprises are a joyful moment in a child’s life, try and outline at least some of the situation, so the meal doesn’t become too overwhelming for them.

Avoid rush hour at all costs

Finally, let’s talk about timing. You can have the best-behaved child in the land, but they’ll be tested to their limits if you visit your restaurant in question at rush hour.

Busy places and young children are never an ideal recipe, and when hunger is thrown into the mix, things can quickly get out of hand. Try and arrive just before, or preferably just after, the peak dining hours so you can prepare for a much more relaxed affair.

What Are the Best Foods for a 6-Month-Old Baby?

September 27, 2021 by admin Leave a Comment

Babies grow fast. As they grow, their body changes and so do their needs. It’s not a problem if you breastfeed your infant. Your milk content changes to adapt to your little one’s needs and supplies them with all the nutrients they require. But what if you have to formula-feed? In that case, you have to change your infant’s diet as they grow. Let’s see what foods are the best for 6-month-olds.

Why is Stage 1 formula isn’t good for a 6-month-old baby?

During the first year of life, your baby’s GIT evolves rapidly. So do its adaptive capabilities. A newly born’s digestive system is very different from that of an infant who’s half a year old. A 6-month-old can actually try to digest some ‘grown-up’ foods like fruit or veggie purees. This means that the formula content must change accordingly.

Why do you have to switch to the Stage 2 formula at 6 months?

Switching formulas is necessary to make sure that your baby gets all nutrients they need in appropriate amounts. As an infant grows, you often can notice their usual formula doesn’t satiate their appetite. They start crying as soon as you finish feeding. They just don’t get enough. You might prepare bigger batches to give them more, of course. But it would be quite a load for their GIT. Why would you do that when you can give them less formula and still get them full and satisfied?

What to look for in a Stage 2 formula

Pay special attention to ingredients. Make sure there’s no palm oil or soy. Look for lutein for better eye development. Nucleotides will strengthen the immune system. Omega fatty acids are great for the nervous system in general and the brain in particular.

Note what it’s based on. In case your baby is prone to allergies, choose formula based on goat milk.

Best formulas for 6-month-olds

1. Holle Stage 2 Goat Milk Formula

Holle goat milk formula Stage 2 is one of the best choices when you’d like to switch to a mixed diet or wean. Goat milk contains fewer allergens and ensures your baby’s comfort. Contains algae oil DHA, vegetable oils. No GMO, soy, added sweeteners.

2. HiPP Stage 2 Organic Formula (German)

HiPP Stage 2 includes all the nutrients your 6-month-old requires. Contains prebiotics & probiotics for better digestion and a stronger immune system. No added sugars or artificial components.

3. Loulouka Stage 2 Goat Milk  Formula

This infant food is made of powder that comes from whole goat milk. Contains organic components only and is vegetarian-friendly. No artificial colors or flavors. Palm oil-free. Contains coconut oil.

The variety in infant formulas helps make sure that your baby gets everything they need at any stage in their life. Choose carefully. More importantly, let your choice be based on recommendations coming from medical professionals. At the same time, trust your mother’s instinct too. This way you’ll be able to pick exactly the product your little one needs.

15 best summer hair care tips

May 18, 2021 by admin Leave a Comment

Like the sun can damage your skin, it can damage your hair as well. As soon as summer starts, your healthy tresses can probably become damaged gradually. The sun can make your hair dry and rough with the UV rays. This is why many people opt for short hair in this season. It’s significant to take proper hair care during this season to protect hair and scalp.

Causes of hair damage during summer

The major problem you often face with hair is frizz. During summer, hair takes in the humidity. This makes the shaft swell causing breakage in the cuticle which results in frizz. Swimming during summers might damage your hair even more. Chlorine in the water can lead to your hair losing its natural oils. If you dip in seawater, the heavy salt content in the water takes out all the water in your hair, leaving it dry. Has your hair been dyed or highlighted? It is prone to UV damage. The sun will make the cuticle even rougher. This can make the hair more fragile and dried out.

Summer hair care tips

  1. Cover your hair: While traveling, avoid letting the wind rush through your hair. This causes tangling and dry out your hair.Cover your hair with a good scarf. If possible, use a cotton one and tie it loosely so that it does not hinder circulation. You can also wear a hat this season.
  2. Trim it: Hair regrowth is faster in summer than in winter. Trim your hair at the beginning of this season or you might like to have a summer special haircut. By the end of the season, your hair may grow pretty well.
  3. Wet your hair before swimming: Before swimming, wet your hair with clean water. Wet hair will soak up less chlorine or sea salt when compared to dry hair.
  4. Wash your hair after swimming: After swimming, wash your hair well with clean water to remove the chlorinated pool water.
  5. Wash your hair frequently with shampoo and conditioner: During summer, you sweat a lot. Your scalp becomes sweaty and dirty. So, you should wash it frequently. It is recommended to opt for moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to protect your hair. Use an anti-residue shampoo once a week. Deep condition your hair using coconut oil or any other good oil.
  6. Hot oil rinse: A hot oil rinse is a must in the summers. Shampoo your hair. Heat a natural oil and apply it to your hair. Your hair should be moisturized afterward, but not greasy.
  7. Towel dry gently: Before you let your hair loose to dry naturally, you will obviously towel dry it. Nevertheless, be careful as the friction between the towel and your hair can cause hair breakage.
  8. Get into deep conditioning your hair: Deep conditioning is an important aspect of summer haircare. Summer can make your hair fragile; deep conditioning can undo this damage by hydrating your hair. It can also undo the harmful effect of the sun on hair.
  9. Apply serum: Get a good serum to get rid of the frizz. Apply a small quantity of the serum.
  10. Apply sunscreen: After applying sunscreen on your body, simply run your fingers through your hair and let the residual sunscreen protect your hair from UV rays. It should be washed out.
  11. Use a hair conditioner that contains sunscreen: The sun’s heat will activate the conditioner. This softens your hair, while the sunscreen will prevent UV rays from causing damage to the strands. Is your hair color-treated? Ensure to use a leave-in conditioner with sunscreen to prevent the color from fading out.
  12. Say no to styling: Avoid hot styling tools such as hair dryers, straighteners and curlers. Hair sprays are drying. The ingredients in it damage hair. If you need to use hair sprays, then choose those with natural ingredients and conditioners.
  13. Use a scalp cleanser: Use a scalp cleanser that is designed to remove toxins from your hair like chlorine as well as auto emissions and other environmental pollutants. Use the hair oil to massage your hair once a week, leave overnight and wash off the next day.
  14. Use a wide-toothed comb: Do not brush your hair, use a wide-tooth comb instead. These can be way less harsh when it comes to untangling your locks.
  15. Eat a balanced diet: Ensure you’re getting essential nutrients. Omega-3 fatty acids are very good for strong and healthy hair. These are found in spinach, salmon, eggs etc. Have some greens. Fruits and dark green vegetables are very good for healthy hair. Take some broccoli as well. Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which improve hair regrowth. Get some nuts that contain zinc. Consume carrots as these contain vitamin A.

These home remedies or cosmetic or salon treatments for hair loss might improve your symptoms but not necessarily help the actual cause. It can lead to occasional relapses or continued slow deterioration. There are different hair loss treatments available such as local, steroid injections with or without oral steroids. But they might come with a host of side-effects.

Homeopathy can be of great help for people of all ages. It offers a safe hair fall solution. Research studies have proven the efficacy of homeopathic medicines in treating hair loss. According to a study, homeopathic medicines aid in combating DHT (a hormone responsible for hair loss) without any toxic side-effects. (Source: Skin Research Institute of Europe)

There are different treatment options that can be supplemented along with homeopathy treatment to enhance the results. They are as follows:

  • Hair Vitalizing Treatment to resuscitate the growth cycle of hair follicles
  • STM cell treatment to increase hair volume and hair density
  • groHAIR treatment to stimulate hair regrowthand improve hair volume

Do not let summer hair loss woes hamper your confidence. Consult a homeopathic doctor right now for the best hair fall treatment by visiting your nearest homeopathy clinicright away!
