If anything, my "burp cloth use" goes up on the rise dramatically once my kids start eating on their own. And those independent kiddos both started eating unassisted before they turned one. So you can imagine how messy they were - but boy were they determined and proud.
So I often use a damp burp cloth to wipe them down after meals and then I toss it in the wash to be re-used over and over again. No wasting paper towels here!
I love the Bebe au Lait burp cloths because they have style. Choosing just one style is so difficult! I really loved the Organic Peacock ones. The turquoise linen accent was so gorgeous. But I decided on the brighter Aqua in the end! I just love the color!
And they are nice, thick and fluffy, made of cotton terry cloth. Very absorbent! And they are approximately 17" x 6.5" in size. So they are a thin, long burp cloth. It's a perfect size for laying over your shoulder when used with a baby, or simply wiping faces clean on toddlers and preschoolers!
I think they would make such a nice gift on their own, tucked in a diaper bag or used to decorate a diaper cake! Definitely check out the styles for yourself. They are $20 for a pack of 3!
