Buzzworthy Review & Contest: Baby's Little Log Book

Keegan was my firstborn. After I had him, there was so many questions, so much information, and infinite disorder as I tried to keep track of every moment of this little guy. And I am not talking cute baby book stuff, like first smile or when he started rolling. The pediatrician and I both needed to know:
  • When did he eat, how many ounces?
  • How long was he latched on?
  • Left breast or right?
  • When did he last poop?
  • How many wet diapers?
  • What color/consistency was the poop?
  • How many times is he waking up? Spitting up?
My head was SPINNING! I had notes on every scrap of paper, inside books, on sticky notes and more. But I was obviously OVERWHELMED! If only I had Baby's Little Log Book! Keeping track of everything would have been so much easier and I would have been able to communicate with my pediatrician and other caregivers so much easier!

Baby's Little Log Book
includes Four Color-Coded Sections: a Pumping Log, Lactation Notes, Page-a-Day Logging and Baby's Doctor Visits. For me personally, I love how the book really organizes the day-to-day, because you can log about diapers, sleeping, eating, milestones, moods, medications and more on one page a day. And the doctor visit pages are awesome, since at-a-glance you can refer to your baby's percentiles, weight, height and head circumference. Plus, there is room for you to write questions you have for the doctor! That way you don't get back home and *gasp* as you realize you forgot to ask if green poop is normal. Plus, you'll find an easy reference list for all of your baby's emergency information on the inside back cover!

With this information at-a-glance you can easily discover natural routines, anticipate your baby’s needs and answer all those questions the pediatrician fires at you! But, what else would you expect from a been-there-done-that mom. Alexis Ahrens developed Baby's Little Log Book in response to her own unexpected frustration with the chaotic nature of new motherhood as she tried to organize her son’s newborn activities. She realized other new moms could benefit from her work and thus Baby’s Little Log Book was born.

Besides the endless benefits of being organized as a new mom, I have to gush about how 10% of all Baby's Little Log Book are donated to to support research into the causes and treatments for autism.

You can find Alexis at her blog, Taking the Lid Off the Sun. She is also the founder and facilitator of MOMentum, a local mastermind group for entrepreneurial moms.
